Product Owner II

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with your team(s) to meet stakeholder requirements, prioritize the backlog, and create user stories. You will lead ceremonies with the Scrum Master and work closely with Product Management on the product roadmap and backlog. You will communicate with clients and other CSG groups and must be open to asking questions and learning new technologies.

We are looking for a Product Owner who will:

• Define and prioritize product features and user stories based on business value and risk.

• Define and update a product roadmap quarterly and communicate the roadmap to stakeholders.

• Define user stories, prioritize team backlog, and present new product stories in iteration planning.

• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to work through requirements and define solutions to meet our customers’ business needs.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams within CSG to ensure successful implementation of features.

• Be a leader on your team(s) and work closely with the Scrum Master and team on solutions and decisions.

• Review completed user stories and provide feedback to the team during demos.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly with your team(s) and yourself.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Build working relationships with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship.

• Consolidate requests, designs, and technical research to create well-defined and well-documented requirements, estimates, user stories, and solutions.

• Support and enforce team testing and coding standards as part of acceptance criteria for all deliverables.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience as a product owner or similar role

• Strong understanding of software architecture and testing frameworks

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously

• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment, and managing iteration-level deliverables

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and/or ADO

• Familiarity with ACP, CCS, and CSG's Core Billing functionality from a business perspective

• Able to demonstrate an ability to learn from challenges and apply continuous improvement as an individual as well as with the team and Product Owner process as a whole

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
