Product Owner I - Digital and Technology Partners - Ambulatory Access and Professional Revenue Corporate - Remote
The Product Owner is responsible for executing the strategic direction, continuous improvement, functional and technical roadmap for the product or experience. Product Owners work with cross functional teams to:
- Understand how to compete and differentiate in product delivery
- Build the right foundations to create and scale differentiated experiences
- Plan, manage, and drive applications for success in meeting product experience goals
- Manage backlog of product deliverables, and improvise and build on learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources and in alignment with organizational goals
- Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions.
- Ensure technical design supports objectives and measures appropriately tying back to concept objectives supporting business goals
- Lead the technical design process, the skillful application of experience, research and due diligence to the planning and execution of development and architecture. Evaluate existing solutions or explore new solutions.
- Prioritize the product backlog as a list of work for development derived from the product roadmap and its requirements
- Determining the overall timelines for the projects and use tactical session/documents designed to capture and track the features planned for the project release.
- Define what can be delivered according to project plans , and how that work will be achieved.
- Utilize retrospectives as an opportunity to reflect on collaboration efforts and a time to identify how to apply past insights to the upcoming project or sprint.
- Conduct demos to show the value of the product, project or service to a current or prospective business group.
- Manage product roadmap as a shared source of truth that outlines the vision, direction, priorities, and progress of a product over time.
- Define and track KPIs and measurable success criteria
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or healthcare discipline.
- Seven or more years of related experience, In -depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms, tailor communication to audience, mediate and facilitate communications between others, and communicate architecture to all levels of management and customers. Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders to resolve significant architecture issues.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
