Reports to: Director, GTM Strategy & Enablement 

Work Location Requirements: Remote - Canada (Eastern Standard Time required)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours may be required as job duties demand.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Product Marketing Specialist performs activities such as product positioning to target consumers, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, and product differentiation, among others. The role requires a deep knowledge of the details and nuances of Wiser's market, buyer personas, and be able to deliver the business results in terms of sales. The role also incorporates some sales enablement activities, for example, creation of sales tools, communication, and training.

Responsibilities will include building working relationships with cross functional teams and international offices to accomplish business goals.

Essential Functions

  • To study and attain complete know-how of customer needs and translate them into product requirements working closely with product management teams. 
  • Manage customer expectations and coordinate release and installation of marketing and promotional activities at product launch. 
  • Enhance product definition and positioning using competitive information, market and product analysis. 
  • Partner across pre- and post-sales departments, including Product, Sales, and Marketing, across LatAm, France, and US, to identify ways to improve our messaging. 
  • Support sales and market through sales tools, training and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively position and sell products. 
  • Identify all launch activities and ensure requisite tasks are assigned to responsible parties. 
  • Coordinate product launch team meetings, establish and supervise related activities.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and creative mindset
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2-3 years experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Corporate Marketing or related field
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • English, French and Spanish fluency a strong plus!
