Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive transformational growth within Rocket Software’s Infrastructure Modernization business unit.

Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing as part of the Solutions and Customer Marketing team, and working closely with Growth Marketing, Product Management and Sales, you will lead the go-to-market (including messaging, collateral and launches) for solutions that enable IT teams at some of the world’s largest organizations to modernize their IT infrastructure, from mainframe systems to the cloud. You will also enable peers in marketing to build campaigns and our direct and partner sellers to adopt and execute the go-to-market to build pipeline that consistently coverts into revenue.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop GTM Strategies as Foundations for Growth: Continuously analyze the market to identify opportunities for growth and accurately size segments with propensity to buy, and align the organization to market opportunities and target audiences.
  • Sharpen Insights to Attract & Engage Audiences: Lead the development and ongoing improvement of audience and persona frameworks and buyer journey maps to inform content strategy, demand and conversion programs.
  • Understand Alternative Solutions to Improve Competitive Position: Actively understand alternative market solutions and accepted approaches that customers may employ to solve their challenges to continuously inform product strategy and tune strategic messaging that feeds campaigns, enablement and customer programing.
  • Develop Strategic Messaging and Content: Craft strategic messaging, driven by competitive positioning, that articulates unique value to and resonates with target audiences and that displays our unique perspective on the market and ideal solution.
  • Evolve High Impact Product Launch Strategy: Improve the market and customer impact of product launches with defined accountability and outcomes.
  • Equip the Business: Work in strategic partnership across the business to enable cross functional teams on market, plays, offers and other topics as fit.
  • Accelerate Customer Value: Continuously improve customer marketing post-sale programs and campaigns that enable adoption, facilitate renewal, encourage cross-sell/upsell and create advocacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a B2B software product and/or solution marketing role (experience with customer marketing and content marketing is a bonus)
  • Enterprise company experience, and/or global experience very helpful
  • BA or BS Degree, or equivalent experience also helpful
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional priorities, in a remote setting, while maintaining clear communication
