Overview

LMI is seeking a Product Manager/Business Architect to support a critical product development effort with the US Department of Agriculture and Federal Emergency Management Agency. The Product Manager/Business Architect will lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap and product adoption plans for aSalesforce-based product and related initiatives. This senior role focuses on product strategy and requirements, release planning, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals while integrating with other product leaders, including UI/UX SMEs, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the strategic product roadmap and ensure alignment with agency long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define high-level product strategies and goals.
  • Lead release planning efforts, integrating Agile methodologies and risk management practices.
  • Drive product adoption by analyzing user needs and establishing effective communication plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to product delivery, technical debt, and scalability.
  • Ensure that all enhancements align with enterprise governance standards and strategic objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication.
  • Conduct critical path analyses and ensure major project milestones are met.
  • Develop metrics to track progress against the roadmap and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Champion user experience and usability improvements across all initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in business architecture, strategic planning, or related roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and release planning. 
  • Industry standard certification in Agile product management (e.g., Scrum PO, SAFe PO/PM, etc.). 
  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-level product strategy and adoption initiatives. 
  • Proven experience leading digital products from idea to production, and into the hands of users quickly. 
  • Proven experience developing and executing product adoption strategies and implementing product enhancement feedback loops with user communities. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders. 
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, governance, and best practices. 

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field. 
  • Human centered design certification (e.g., Luma, IDEO, etc.) 
  • SAFe certification 
  • Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Architect). 
  • Experience with federal agencies and/or disaster management programs. 
  • Proficiency in strategic tools like roadmapping software. 
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks. 

 

Target salary range: $130,000 - 150,000.
