Product Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Product Manager based remotely in the US. The Product Manager is responsible for researching, developing, and integrating our access control hardware products. They will engage cross functionally with the engineering and product/business development teams to provide timely support on product features, applications, and address field issues that arise. They will provide the business with a competitive advantage by exploring new concepts in adjacent markets and monitoring industry and customer trends, while ensuring our products meet/exceed current customer expectations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) plus Short-Term Incentive compensation.  Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define product strategy and goals in alignment with the overall dormakaba strategy, including new product development and portfolio management
• Develop and manage the product roadmap and work with cross-functional teams, to align resources to the product roadmap
• Act as Product Owner for Access Control New Products/Systems
• Review feature requests from business development, sales, and other product managers to translate into prioritized, actionable requirements for the development team
• Manage product backlog and help to prioritize development work

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering / Technical discipline or Bachelors’ Degree in Business/Marketing with strong technology background
• 2+ years of engineering or similar technical experience
• 2+ years of product management or similar experience such as Product Owner or Product Marketing
• Experience working with technically diverse teams in a global environment

• Involvement in Technical Advancement forums at the local or national level.
• Experience working in Agile environment and product development architecture/processes
• High interest level in new technology developments.
