Job Description:We are looking for a Product Manager who will be at the forefront of driving innovation at TaxPay. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of our AI-powered tax solutions, ensuring they meet market needs, enhance user experiences, and deliver value to accountants and their clients. As a product leader, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and business development teams to refine product features, define requirements, and take products from concept to launch.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to work in a fintech startup environment, where innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving are at the core of our business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Lead the product strategy for TaxPay’s AI and tax solutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and the needs of our users — accountants, businesses, and individuals.
• Product Development: Drive the end-to-end development process, from concept through execution. Ensure all product features and enhancements are user-centric, technically feasible, and market-ready.
• Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends, user needs, and competitive offerings in the tax and fintech spaces. Use this insight to guide product features and roadmap priorities.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure smooth product delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders to align on product goals and resolve any roadblocks.
• Defining Requirements: Translate business needs and user feedback into detailed product specifications and user stories. Ensure clarity and feasibility for development teams.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to assess product performance, gather insights on user behaviour, and iterate on features for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update internal and external stakeholders on product progress, timelines, and key milestones. Present updates to leadership, clients, and team members.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience managing product development cycles, ideally in a fintech, accounting, or AI-driven environment.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.
• Knowledge of AI and automation technologies, with a passion for leveraging technology to improve workflows and user experiences.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making to refine product features and drive business impact.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.
• Previous experience in the accounting or tax industries is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 CAD annually, based on experience.
