About the Role:

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market conditions, competitor analysis, and financial goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring new products and service lines to market on time and within budget.
  • Manage key product and service programs, ensuring strong supplier and OEM partnerships.
  • Support sales teams on large-scale projects, acting as a technical and strategic partner.
  • Drive product innovation, ensuring new product launches increase market share and revenue growth.
  • Optimize operational efficiency, reducing costs while improving product profitability and performance.

  

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, applications engineering, or sales within industrial markets.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in industrial products, customer applications, MROs and market trends in industries, such as marine, defense, and power generation.
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
  • Strategic Pricing & Market Analysis: Skilled in pricing strategies, competitive analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of product standards, certifications, and operational efficiency in an industrial setting.

  

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Revenue & Margin Growth – Track product financial success and profitability.
  • Market Share Expansion – Ensure competitive positioning and industry penetration.
  • Customer Retention & Satisfaction – Gauge product success in meeting customer needs.
  • Speed to Market – Measure efficiency in new product/service launches.
  • Operational Efficiency & Cost Management – Keep production and supply chain costs in check.
  • Vitality Index – Track revenue contribution from new products launched in the last three years.

  

Additional Job Details:

  • Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000, based on experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, high-energy, and results-driven.
  • Leadership Impact: Direct influence over company growth, strategy, and innovation.
  • Travel: Requires 50% travel.
