We are looking to hire a Product Manager to join our Arc Developer Experience Team. Microsoft Azure Edge + Platform (E+P) is a globally distributed team of engineers, architects, program managers, product managers, business program managers, business administrators, user experience researchers and designers who are responsible for the platform for Microsoft and for delivering Microsoft’s edge vision. We create the most reliable and trustworthy OS and platform services to empower Microsoft and our customers to achieve more. We unlock the next wave of opportunity at the edge through an at-scale ecosystem driving widespread adoption of our Microsoft cloud services. 
As a Product Manager at the forefront of cloud-native software development, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the Arc-enabled Kubernetes ecosystem. You’ll champion the needs of developers and DevOps, leveraging Arc-connected Kubernetes experiences to drive innovation and empower them to create cutting-edge applications and services. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, shaping the product roadmap and driving impactful decisions.
• Develop features and product specifications that align with Microsoft’s first-party developer capabilities and open-source software.
• Deliver presentations and documentation that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Represent Microsoft at conferences and customer outreach events, advocating for the Kubernetes/Cloud Native Open-Source community.
This role is either on site or fully remote.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

 o OR equivalent experience.

  • Passion for customers and solving complex problems.

 

Other Requirements: 

  • Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

 o OR equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of Developer ecosystem, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with the cloud native technology stack, and PaaS offerings in Azure and other public cloud vendors.

 

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
