Requirements

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to help bring a growing number of HQIM to K–12 schools across the country. This position will report directly to the Senior Product Manager for English Language Arts (ELA).

A Product Manager on the ELA team participates in the development and execution of our ELA product roadmap. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive the creation of engaging, effective, and user-centered ELA learning experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our ELA products and deliver solutions that have a lasting impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product development for ELA products, from concept, launch and beyond.
  • Maintain curriculum catalog in CMS including corrections, updates and improvements. 
  • May train and manage contractor(s) to assist in ingestion and maintenance of catalog.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and success metrics that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Conduct market research, analyze trends, and gather feedback from users and internal teams to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Work with Engineering and Design teams to build, test, and ship new products prioritizing features and improvements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Define detailed product specifications and requirements, oversee development, write user stories, and perform user acceptance testing of all feature development.
  • Partner with other departments and external partners to successfully roll out new products, features and optimizations.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and pursue the highest impact opportunities
    • Communicate progress and challenges to all stakeholders regarding timelines and deliverables.
    • Engage with the ELA community to understand the unique needs of educators and students and ensure these are reflected in our product offerings.
    • Monitor and measure product performance, using insights to make data-informed decisions on product iterations and enhancements.
    • Conduct customer site visits and interviews (Travel required)

  • This is a remote, full-time, benefited position with a salary range of $60,000 - $98,000.
