Product Manager – Eco Platform Administration Console - Remote, TX

Job Description:

DTN’s Eco Platform teams build the shared components and services that power DTN's applications in our weather, agriculture, and energy verticals. The Eco Platform is a modern tech stack in every sense, and this product role oversees the platform’s Administration Console and its associated services.

This is an individual contributor role. You will need to be able to influence teammates, product peers, and key stakeholders to deliver valuable solutions to both the internal teams and end users who interact with the applications relying on the Administration Console.

What you will be responsible for:

• Defining, prioritizing, and characterizing key initiatives and product requirements for the Administration Console roadmap that best meet company and team objectives

• Working closely with product peers, developers, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions that enhance delivery and support of DTN’s customer-facing applications 

• Cross-team communications in both directions: collecting and analyzing data needed to understand problems and candidate solutions, and to clearly articulate the information needed for widespread and efficient adoption 
   

What you bring to the role:

• 3+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher. Preferably with a platform product that serves developers–among other user groups–but not essential

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline preferred but not essential

• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery 

• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out an argument in a well-structured, written narrative 

• Ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in constructive and collaborative problem-solving 

• Proactively committed to delivering results, demonstrating a bias towards action and a readiness to collaborate with others to achieve objectives.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $86,250 and $115,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
