Product Manager, Data Platform

At Raptive, data is at the heart of our success. Every day, our data platform retrieves, transforms, and makes vast amounts of data available to our publishers and internal users. As a Product Manager on our Data Platform team, you will play a key role in planning and executing critical components of our product workstreams. You will work closely with our engineering counterparts, contributing to the evolution of our data platform to support the growing data needs of our company.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive improvement in data quality, reliability, and accessibility by collaborating with engineering teams to execute parts of the product roadmap.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather input and refine product requirements that align with business needs.
- Work alongside the data platform engineering team using agile processes to build and enhance features that support our existing data assets and the broader data platform.
- Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative user feedback to inform product decisions.
- Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure the data platform meets their needs and aligns with business goals.
- Monitor and measure the success of product features post-launch, using key performance indicators to assess their effectiveness in driving desired business outcomes.
The skills and experience you bring to the job:
- 2-4 years of experience in technical product management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful product features and working effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Smart, driven, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Personable and highly engaged, with the ability to build strong relationships and interact effectively with business stakeholders, including senior management.
- Quick learner with the ability to rapidly acquire new business and technical knowledge, adapting to changing environments and challenges.
- Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate SQL proficiency, the ability to pull, analyze, and visualize data, and use data-driven insights to inform and advocate for product direction.
- Solid technical understanding of data platform technologies, including cloud data warehouses, relational and NoSQL databases, API data integrations, ETL services, and data pipelines. While coding is not required, a credible partnership with engineering is essential.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), judgment, and decision-making skills, with a focus on maintaining clear and regular communication with team members and leadership.
- Experience in agile (Scrum) environments, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver product features efficiently.
- Familiarity with the digital advertising landscape (e.g., ad servers, RTB, PMP, DSPs, DMPs) is a plus …
