Mitek Systems is hiring for a hybrid Product Manager, Biometric Authentication for our New York office.

What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities):

  • Support the development of the company’s rapidly advancing biometric authentication product roadmap and assist senior leadership in defining and executing future strategy for these products.
  • As a part of the company’s global product management organization, manage product features and drive projects to completion in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Drive the financial results of the product, achieve profitable P&L, keep updated the financial status of the product and its unit economics.
  • Prioritize the backlog of features with clear business partner acceptance criteria and focus on user experience and scalability.
  • Drive product launches with a cross-functional team, including product marketing, sales engineering, customer success, and production support.
  • Build support for the product vision with internal business partners and key customers.
  • Improve business processes and procedures as well as key metrics for success.
  • Continually report on product performance with supporting data.
  • Measure and analyze product performance.
  • Craft business-friendly release notes for each feature release.
  • Participate in scrum meetings to communicate feature requirements.
  • Ensure data is collected and analyzed for product releases to ensure validation in the market.
  • Partner with technical counterparts to create and maintain alignment between product and technical roadmaps.

What You Will Need (Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or a related field.
  • 6 years progressive experience in IT product management.

  • Work experience to include:
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams as software product owner or in software product management for AI-based or ML-based software products and services; must include one year of experience supporting design, build, deployment, and maintenance of biometrics and facial recognition technologies.
  • 1 year of experience managing the development of software for identity-verified authentication or biometric verification technologies; must include driving product decisions in a software products organization.
  • Working with Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
  • Communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders on product metrics, budget, deliverables, and status.
  • Defining and managing customer-facing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Business-to-Business-to-Business (B2B2B) products.
  • Ensuring product compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) regulations.
  • Product development experience with face recognition or liveness detection technologies.

  • Academic background or work experience to include:
  • Applicants with Computer Science or IT degrees must show academic coursework or work experience in international economic relations, international business management or a combination of these fields.
  • Applicants with Economics-related degrees must show academic coursework or work experience with computer technologies.
  • Any and all experience can be gained concurrently. 

Salary Range

  • $155,542 - $155,542 USD per annum
