THE ROLE Thrive Market’s Product Management team seeks a highly quantitative individual who will be an exceptional addition to our Product team. As we continue to grow and expand our digital presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ads & Monetization Product Manager to lead our efforts in maximizing revenue through strategic advertising initiatives. The Ads & Monetization Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our advertising and monetization strategy across our digital platform. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including the executive team, key stakeholders, engineers, product design, and others. If you are someone who has worked on optimizing Ads & Monetization programs for a while and you’d be excited to try your hand at creating massive growth from what’s today very much a baseline offering, this is the role for you!
You should love solving customer user experience problems and seeing new business opportunities utilizing qualitative and quantitative data through the empathetic lens of the user journey and by working closely with our Member Services department. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a data-driven innovator, charismatic influencer, curious problem solver, and persuasive communicator. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ads and monetization strategy to maximize revenue across our digital platforms
  • Collaborate with product development teams to integrate advertising solutions seamlessly into our products while maintaining a positive user experience
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to identify and pursue advertising opportunities that align with our business objectives and target audience
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and user behavior to identify new monetization opportunities and optimize existing revenue streams
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and monetization efforts
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to gather and analyze data insights, identify trends, and inform decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and monetization
  • Continually and effectively create product briefs, presentations, and communication plans for leadership, key stakeholders, and development teams
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer journeys and continuously identify opportunities to improve member engagement experiences across desktop and native mobile applications
  • Helming thoughtful experimentation across products to constantly improve the prospect and member experience through feedback and A/B testing
  • Demonstrated ability to own driving ideas through problem definition, solution discovery, and delivery, as well as thinking big and influencing across all levels of an organization to champion product lines
  • Efficient in gathering and transforming business needs into product requirements and developing actionable and measurable programs for development and product design teams
  • Experience with agile or other PDLC methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience on native consumer mobile apps
  • Ads and Monetization experience is a must
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful advertising and monetization strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Extensive experience with A/B testing
  • Ability to pull your data to create insights and discover trends from our users
  • Driven by data and exceptional analytical skills; you know how to use both quantitative and qualitative data to build products
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with stakeholders in all departments
  • Superior organization and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and communication lines
  • Craft the product strategy for your area of ownership based on data, including transactional data, usage statistics, primary customer research, competitive analysis, and industry analyst reports
  • Affinity for the social mission of Thrive Market and a deep appreciation and empathy for the needs of the customer

JOB INFORMATION:

  • Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $210,000/Per Year. 
  • Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location. 
  • Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Stock Options, Health and Wellness Benefits, Flexible PTO, and more!
