Product Designer, Acquisition Experience
Brazil (Remote)
About the Role
As a Product Designer with e-commerce experience, you bring a strong set of skills that can significantly improve the acquisition experience in a legal tech environment. You are an expert at using data to guide design decisions, optimizing conversion paths, and focusing on what users need and expect. With a solid understanding of user behavior, you know how to run effective tests, analyze results, and make continuous improvements to the design. This approach helps smooth out any friction in the user journey and boosts conversions—key to driving growth and success in a competitive market. This role involves close collaboration with the product marketing team, product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and other product designers.
Responsibilities
Design a Cohesive, Scalable, and Brand-Aligned Acquisition Experience
-
- Apply e-commerce design best practices to enhance the flow of the user journey, optimize conversions, and increase customer engagement and retention, while keeping in mind the specific nuances of the legal industry.
- Work with development teams to deliver modular, scalable CMS components that align with design specifications for consistency across the acquisition experience. Provide necessary assets, documentation, and design system guidelines to ensure seamless integration and a smooth user experience from a product page to checkout.
- Ensure that the design of the acquisition experience aligns with our brand voice, positioning, and tone, creating a cohesive and consistent experience across all touchpoints.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in product and ecommerce design, and legal tech, bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
Using Data and Context to Drive Design
-
- Leverage user research, usability testing, and performance analytics to continually improve the acquisition experience. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly influence conversion (e.g., cart abandonment rates, checkout flow drop-offs, etc.) and use those insights to fine-tune the user journey in the acquisition funnel through A/B testing for optimization.
- Use behavioral data analysis tools such as Google Analytics or FullStory to analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis to pinpoint where users are hesitating, bouncing, or abandoning the process, and then make targeted design improvements based on these insights.
- Segment users based on behavior, type, demographics, or source and tailor designs accordingly for each segment, optimizing the experience for various customer profiles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
- Collaborate with the product marketing team, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design features and enhancements that align with business goals and user needs.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, designing and optimizing intuitive e-commerce experiences that drive customer engagement and conversion.

- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create clean, modern, and user-friendly designs.
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
- Experience designing responsive web and native mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of how to use data to inform design decisions, including user testing, A/B testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, FullStory, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and an ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
