Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

CompanyCam is looking for multiple Product Data Analysts to join our Data Analytics team! As a Product Data Analyst, you will ensure data is at the core of our decision-making. You’ll lead processes around collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our products, along with ensuring the implementation of the Continuous Discovery Habits philosophy by holding teams accountable to key metrics, assumption testing, and experimentation. Your insights will directly influence product development strategies, feature prioritization, and product roadmap. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, you will translate complex data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and facilitate continuous improvement. If you enjoy leveraging tools (such as dbt, Metabase, Amplitude, and Seconda, to name a few) to uncover insights that drive product improvements, user engagement, and user retention, keep reading!

Location: Candidates must permanently and currently reside in the United States. Employees are not required to work in the office or relocate to Lincoln, Nebraska, for this opportunity. Employees are encouraged to come hang at headquarters for up to 10 days per calendar year on CompanyCam’s dime.

What You’ll Do

  • Assess the effectiveness of existing product features and functionalities through rigorous analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting success areas and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Managers to track and analyze key product metrics, develop objectives and KPIs, and ensure assumptions are tested and validated.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Product to align on data needs and improve decision-making processes.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support product roadmap decisions, feature prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a data-driven culture by creating dashboards and training teams on Metabase, Amplitude, and Secoda.
  • Act as a strategic partner to product managers, offering insights and data-driven guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design robust testing frameworks, evaluate experiment results, and iterate on key hypotheses.
  • Develop scalable product analytics frameworks to standardize data-driven decision-making.
  • Improve access to data through Metabase, Amplitude, and Secoda, ensuring teams can independently explore product insights.
  • Advocate for best practices for both Product Managers and internal data teams, focusing on data-driven decision-making and experimentation, and data governance and standardization for the respective team.

  • 2-3 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker and product analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.
  • Experience in A/B testing, cohort analysis, and funnel optimization, along with hypothesis-driven research and experiment design.

  • Proficiency in storytelling with data and translating insights into strategy.
  • Experience designing and implementing analytics frameworks for scalable decision-making.
  • Passion for fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven learning.
  • Comfortable working in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment.
  • A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
  • Prior experience working in SaaS or fast-growing tech environments is preferred.
