Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for an Equipment Procurement Project Manager to oversee and manage the equipment procurement process for data center campus builds and serve as the key point of connection for the Rowan Engineering & Construction Teams who are tasked with delivering the work.
The successful candidate will have the experience, knowledge and leadership skills to own and manage the procurement activities from start to finish for a hyperscale data center campus. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of all facets of the procurement process, including the initial planning, Request-For-Proposals, Vendor relationships, contract review/execution, payment terms and delivery coordination with the Rowan Project Managers.
Travel: Ability to travel up to (25%) to project locations and manufacturing facilities as required for expediting, site visits, RFP requirements, and/or initial delivery management.

Compensation: $130-$165K - Offers Bonus
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee the entire procurement cycle for construction equipment, from identifying needs to finalizing orders and ensuring delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and rental companies
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable outcomes for the company
Manage the equipment procurement budget, ensuring that all purchases stay within the allocated financial parameters
Continuously monitor and track costs associated with equipment procurement and usage, identifying areas for cost reduction without sacrificing quality
Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers, evaluating their reliability, cost, and quality of equipment
Evaluate and manage the performance of vendors to ensure that agreed-upon service levels and delivery timelines are met
Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain accurate records of purchases, warranties, contracts, and repairs for audit purposes
Work closely with project managers and construction teams to understand specific project needs and deliver the right equipment on time
Education, Skills, and Experience
Relevant college degree or commensurate relevant experience
Relevant Construction Procurement experience for a decently sized general contractor or similar entity
Background in Data Center development
Be familiar with large projects or have a long history of many projects
Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software
Working knowledge of green building practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment
