Position Summary:

 

The Procurement Finance Manager Co-Pilot, reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Director, is a vital member of the Nestle Health Science Operations Finance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial and analytical expertise to the Procurement Organization and the Operations Finance Co-Pilots. Your main objective will be to manage information structures that enhance insights and facilitate informed business decision-making, with a specific focus on Direct and Indirect spend, particularly Raw and Packaging materials utilized in our manufacturing network.

As the Procurement Finance Manager Co-Pilot , you will collaborate closely with the Procurement leadership team, serving as a finance co-pilot. Your role will involve measuring and driving operating performance to achieve our collective targets. By leveraging your financial acumen and analytical skills, you will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement strategies and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This is a remote position, however candidates located near one of our offices will have the option to use our corporate office space if desired.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish successful business partner relationships with VP Procurement and Operations Co-Pilots for Active & Medical Nutrition and VMHS Business Units
  • Lead Procurement financial planning for the annual budget and monthly forecast updates
  • Provide financial oversight for spend analytics, developing reports and managing information that enables recommendations and review of actions for business opportunities
  • Work with the Procurement Team to understand the strategies and projects to deliver total delivered cost savings, ensuring appropriate levels of performance tracking are in place
  • Collaborate with Division Finance teams to ensure there is alignment on Procurement cost estimates / savings and P&L impact
  • Provide analytics and data gathering for various projects across the Procurement function
  • Lead for NHSc US Procurement Savings Tracking in OSCAR and liaise with global Operations team as required for global tracking alignment
  • Constantly seek out ways to improve our Finance practices, policies and process to deliver more effective and efficient outcomes Partner with Global Procurement BP for NHSc to improve cost alignment discipline and process governance for cost simulations and division risk/opportunities updates
  • Manage team performance, to create a winning culture (coach & develop 1 direct report)

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or other related field required
  • 5-7 years of proven Financial or Accounting experience
  • Operations finance experience preferred but not required
  • Experience leading teams preferred but not required

 

Skills:

 

  • Ability to manage team member(s) remotely
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management skills

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $113,000- $140,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
