Process Coordinator I

What this Job Entails: 

Supports process improvement efforts designed to improve efficiency, decrease costs and improve quality of work.

Scope: 

  • This position supports projects under higher level Process Improvement personnel.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interview process subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand how their processes work.

  • Listen to needs of the business partner and consider those needs by asking probing questions until the real need is surfaced and understood.

  • Document information elicited using analytical tools and techniques such as spreadsheets, pareto charts and process maps.

  • Read and interpret process data

  • Participate in process re-engineering efforts.

  • Facilitate process working sessions.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience

  • Strong listening skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience handling multiple tasks and working under time constraints in support of various assignments

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certified Six Sigma or Lean

  • Self-motivated

  • Results-driven

  • Ability to apply an understanding of how processes should work

  • Ability to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

  • Must be able to use a computer

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively 

  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Salary Range

$18.77 - $25.59 USD (Hourly)
