A day in the life.
Start with assisting in preparations for an Annual Review Client Review meeting. Then, you’ll take a course on insurance basics. After that, you’ll be doing an interview with one of our Senior Placement Leaders to learn about that role. You’ll be seeing every part of the business and talking to colleagues and leaders at multiple levels.
This position is designed as a 10-week program with daily assignments, interviews, learning components, and opportunities to assist the sales, placement, client servicing, and operations teams. Plus, there a capstone program that puts all the pieces together.
This is a hybrid role, with four days a week in the local office. We anticipate our Interns starting in May/June 2025 timeframe.
Prefer current Undergraduate Juniors/Rising Seniors with an expected graduation in May/June 2026, with a Major in Risk Management, Business, or Finance preferred.
This position will be located out of our San Francisco office. The payrate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

- Follows Intern Plan through to completion with guidance from the mentor. Demonstrates a high level of intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn the business.
- Consistent and punctual with the submissions of work assignments to the mentor.
- Completes weekly activity report and other forms required as learning tools.
- Relays and applies knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting.
- Participates in office, Insurance Carrier, and/or client meetings as requested.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with company colleagues, clients, and carriers.
- Provides assistance to other colleagues and performs various administrative duties as needed.
- Interacts with high-level clientele and members of the organization in a positive professional manner.
- Maintains accountability for his/her actions and activities, both personally and professionally.
