The Senior Market Development Professional is dedicated to overseeing the Medicare and Medicaid prior authorization process.
The Senior Market Development Professional collaborates with internal stakeholders to create and maintain prior authorization lists. They are dedicated to overseeing the Medicare and Medicaid prior authorization process.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- leading a Prior Authorization List governance committee and other meetings
- maintaining the PAL on external and internal sites including twice a year provider mailer
- serving as a subject matter expert staying up to date on market and Medicaid state changes to drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of experience in insurance or health care setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience implementing and measuring success on complex health-related initiatives and pilots
- Strategic thinker with ability to work independently
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Process-focused, with ability to leverage and enhance existing processes
- Exercises independent judgement and decision making on complex issues.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

- Master's Degree
- Healthcare experience
