The Job Details are as follows:

As a Principal Functional Consultant, this Workday Student Consultant plays a key role in implementing and optimizing Workday Student solutions for higher education clients.

This position supports core student functionalities, including Academic Advising, Student Records, Recruiting & Admissions, and Financial Aid, ensuring seamless configuration and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze Workday Student requirements, translating them into robust specifications and design documents.
• Mastery of Workday Student configuration and business processes across various modules such as Admissions, Student Records, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and Student Finance.
• Provide expert guidance on higher education best practices and process improvements.
• Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks, identifying key drivers of a defined problem, and proposing solutions.
• Drive success in Advisory, full-cycle, and phase X projects across the Workday Student product suite.
• Conduct complex work with autonomy and extensive latitude for independent judgment.
• Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any pertinent field or industry.
• Must be Workday Student certified.
• 5+ years’ experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday.
• 3+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
• Experience with gathering data requirements and supporting end-user validation.
• Ability to manage work, lead a workstream, and mentor junior team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A talent for building and nurturing strong client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in the Workday ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional services background, either with another Workday partner or as an independent consultant.
• Willingness to travel on-site if required, up to 30%

Compensation:

The salary range for this role can range from $90,000 to $190,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
