OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal User Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user experience principles and best practices and accessibility requirements, coupled with the ability to lead and manage complex design projects from conception to implementation. This role demands not only expert-level design skills but also exceptional project management capabilities and superior communication skills.

The Principal User Experience Designer will serve as a pivotal bridge between our Product and Engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on business requirements and technical execution. The Principal User Experience Designer should be a strategic thinker and collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to develop a vision that will drive learner engagement and rich experiences, and be able to present that vision to peers, internal stakeholders and customers.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as an individual contributor and 2+ year as team/project lead experience, with a strong background in interaction design, visual design, and complex workflows. This role is a leader within the UX organization who takes ownership of large, ambiguous projects and is accountable for design quality of our products and our team processes.

This is a remote, US-based role (EST preferred).
