Job Description
The Principal, Stratgegy and Performance plays a critical role in optimizing internal operations and supporting client delivery by analyzing data, identifying opportunities to improve medical cost efficiency and patient engagement, and expanding reporting capabilities. This role will be principally responsible for leading collaborative performance projects that will drive operational excellence. This will include extensive collaboration with operational and data leaders to structure and execute performance analyses, facilitate performance management meetings, and deliver project updates. Additionally, the analyst supports strategic initiatives through market research, competitor analysis, and investor or Board document preparation while also assisting senior leaders in conference preparations and thought leadership content.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Performance management and improvement
- Internal performance optimization
- Working with operational and data leaders to structure, execute, and validate analyses that identify opportunities to improve performance including medical cost, patient engagement, and other metrics.
- Supporting performance management and leadership progress updates, including quarterly enterprise performance reviews
- Expanding reporting capabilities by identifying and scoping new reports for different levels of the organization
- Preparing for and help facilitate regular performance office meetings
- Client delivery support
- Working with Guidehealth and client operators to prepare for standing performance / steerco meetings by aggregating and QA'ing materials and managing the project cadence
- Attending these standing meetings (mix of hybrid and in-person) and circulate follow-ups and notes
- Lead ad hoc projects with clients and internal teams targeted at specific opportunities using an agile execution approach (e.g., sprints to improve patient engagement)
- Preparing opportunity analyses for validation and presentation to client operators and leadership
- Strategy
- Conducting ad hoc market research projects and analyses and prepare findings for presentation to senior audiences
- Maintaining and occasionally refresh competitor and market perspectives
- External Relations
- Collaborating with ELT leaders in preparing materials and perspectives for our investors and our Board of Directors
- Helping senior leaders prepare for conferences and other external engagement opportunities
- Helping draft and iterate reach and relevance publications, including short blog and LinkedIn posts for the CEO
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive experience and knowledge in healthcare
- Strong generalist toolkit: Excel, Powerpoint, Creation of Executive communications
- Strong entrepreneurial mind set
- Expert level analytical skills
- Open to travel 1-2 nights every 2 weeks

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $150,000.00

COMPENSATION:
The listed compensation range listed is paid bi-weekly per our standard payroll practices. Final base pay decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.

This position is responsible for following all Security policies and procedures in order to protect all PHI and PII under Guidehealth’s custodianship as well as Guidehealth Intellectual Properties. For any security-specific roles, the responsibilities would be further defined by the hiring manager.
REMOTE WORK TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Guidehealth is a fully remote company. We provide new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee. Employees provide their own internet connection, capable of conducting video calls on camera and connecting to various internal and external systems. The recommended internet speed is a minimum of 50 mbps download, 10 mbps upload.
