About your new Role:

As a Principal Software Engineer and Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building a real-time, scalable reporting system that empowers users to interact with business-critical data instantly. Working within our Azure-based ecosystem leveraging Python, PHP, and MariaDB, you will lead the architecture and development of this system to deliver fast, accurate insights with an intuitive user experience. This high-impact, 100% remote role involves designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing performance, and developing customizable reporting features that enable self-service data analysis.

This is a 100% Remote, Full-Time opportunity. 

What You’ll Need:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong background in building real-time reporting systems
• Advanced expertise in Python, PHP, SQL, and a solid grasp of data architecture.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure and tools such as ETL frameworks, MariaDB, or similar databases is essential.
• Experience with scalable data models, metadata-driven design, and performance optimization is key.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills will ensure your success in mentoring engineers and delivering impactful solutions that meet business needs.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
