Job Description: 

V2X is growing!  We have an opportunity for a collaborative and skilled Program Scheduler/Planner to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO supporting the COBRA DANE program.   

We are seeking candidates for program-level scheduler/planner for V2X’s COBRA DANE program.  This individual will be responsible for preparation and maintenance of the project schedules within the COBRA DANE contract. Our candidate will work within a high energy team environment to development integrated master schedules on multiple simultaneous projects and then conduct monthly updates for estimates to complete to provide to the finance to forecast cost and schedule integration.  The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts, works well within a team environment, and has experience working with complexity schedules containing various types of control accounts to include direct charge employees, subcontractors, travel, and material.

The candidate will draw upon their knowledge to be able to troubleshoot schedule issues to ensure schedule integrity and cost/schedule integration is maintained.  The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, pays great attention to the smallest of details, and embraces modern development processes and techniques that improve product quality and team productivity.  Our chosen candidate will be an outside-the-box thinker and be constantly thinking of how to perform more efficiently.  We are looking for proven employee that enjoys a challenge and has a passion to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. No travel required.

Salary Range :  $95,000 - $125,000

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of as scheduler/planner developing integrated master schedules (IMS)
  • Ability to create and maintain project schedules within Microsoft (MS) Project
  • Strong understanding of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and how to represent and analyze cost and schedule integration
  • Ability to conform and adhere to baseline change control policies
  • Understanding of risk and opportunity integration within schedules
  • Strong ability to recognize schedule issues and variances and make necessary corrections
  • Comprehensive critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work effectively in a results-oriented team environment
  • Strong people skills and willingness to work within a team structure
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include communications of concerns and communications protocols
  • Ability to work and succeed in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Outlook), as well as computer, laptops, scanners, printers, faxes, other network and general office equipment
  • Ability to work both on-site and remotely using Teams as a collaboration tool
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

      Desired Skills:

      • Experience with alternative work time and resource loading in MS Project
      • Experience working in an earned value management system (EVMS)-certified environment, EIA-748 EVMS Standard compliant
      • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software
      • Knowledge of Dassian or other similar tools as a planning tool
      • Experience with Milestone Pro
      • High attention to detail and accuracy
      • Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) – Certification a bonus, but not required

      Educational Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years' experience or High School diploma and 8 years’ experience
