Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap for security capabilities, focusing on secure, scalable, and frictionless authentication and identity solutions.

• Understanding of access management concepts, such as RBAC, ABAC, and provisioning/de-provisioning workflows.

• Experience working with access administration platforms, including governance tools, entitlements management, and audit trails.

• Conduct customer research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and ensure the product roadmap aligns with industry trends.

• Gather and analyze user feedback to identify pain points and enhance authentication and identity experiences.

• Design and execute strategies to address regulatory and compliance requirements related to identity and security, keeping the product future-proof.

• Stay updated on IAM standards, protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, SAML), and trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of identity features into broader security and SaaS product strategies.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800

Zone B: $171,300 - $228,400

Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
