The Role


As the Principal Product Manager for Payments & Embedded Fintech, you will play a critical role in defining and executing RentSpree's strategy in the rapidly growing financial technology sector. This is a highly strategic and impactful role where you will lead the development of innovative rent payment solutions and drive the embedded fintech strategy for mom-and-pop landlords.


This role is hybrid, based in Seattle (2x/week in-office.)


Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and execution for RentSpree's payments and embedded fintech solutions
  • Rent Payments:
    • Scale the existing payment platform to meet the increasing demand and growth of the business
    • Focus on enhancing user experience, ensuring seamless transactions, and integrating with other RentSpree products
  • Embedded Fintech:
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities for financial products such as lending, insurance, and other services
    • Develop and launch new fintech products that provide value to landlords and enhance their financial well-being
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond
  • Lead cross-functional product teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality products
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions and measure success


Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in payments or fintech
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including taking products from 0 to 1 for consumers
  • Deep understanding of the payments and fintech landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience leading and mentoring product teams
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with thought leaders in Thailand (~5-7pm PT)
  • This role is hybrid, based in Seattle (2x/week in-office.)
