As a Principal Product Manager at Thrive, you will be responsible for shaping and optimizing the core daily experience of the Thrive Global platform. Your focus will be on driving measurable improvements in health, well-being and productivity, leveraging behavioral science, AI-driven personalization, and best-in-class user engagement strategies. You will champion user engagement by planning for holistic product features that sustain long-term behavior change, whether through habit formation loops, gamification, incentives, or dynamic user interactions. You will work across engineering, design, research, product marketing, and company leadership to build a world-class experience that balances immediate impact with long-term behavior change.

How You'll Contribute:
- Own the daily experience of the Thrive platform, ensuring our AI Health Coach and engagement mechanics (such as reminders, nudges, rewards, gamification) drive sustained behavior change.
- Optimize user engagement and retention by leveraging best practices from behavioral psychology, habit formation, and incentive design.
- Build strong empathy with our users, understand their motivations and barriers, and the levers of habit forming. Be the subject matter expert in user engagement based on psychological research, user research, and analytics.
- Define and execute a compelling product strategy that leverages Thrive’s proprietary behavioral science methodologies and best-in-class technology.
- Define and deliver compelling product experiences rooted in iterative experimentation, psychological research, data analysis, user insights and needs, strategic business opportunities and a clear understanding of our technical platform capabilities.
- Identify dependencies and build alignment across product development teams, cross-functional partners and company leadership.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to create intuitive, frictionless experiences that keep users coming back.
- Get to know your users deeply and create cohesive user experiences.
- Measure and communicate success by aligning key engagement, retention, and health outcome metrics with business goals.
- Mentor more junior product managers.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years of product management experience, leading complex B2C or B2B2C SaaS platforms that drive long-term engagement.
- Experience designing AI-powered or personalized digital experiences that leverage behavioral science, habit formation, or incentive-based engagement.Experience designing AI-powered or personalized digital experiences that leverage behavioral science, habit formation, or incentive-based engagement.
- Strong analytical mindset—you can synthesize qualitative insights and quantitative data into actionable product strategies.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
- Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in an approachable way
- Demonstrated track record of product leadership is a plus.
- Ran experiments, worked with design and user research to iterate on the experiences to drive positive outcomes for the users.
- Background in neuroscience, psychology or a related field is a plus.

Compensation for this role depends on level, and will likely fall in the $160,000-225,00 range. We provide a competitive mix of salary, performance bonus, and equity
