We are looking for a Principal Research Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our exceptional ML team and help drive innovation in our rapidly growing company. The role reports directly to the VP of Engineering.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Technical Leadership: Define best research practices and provide guidance in an applied environment to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

  • Research Application in Clinical Context: We're seeking someone who can apply their research expertise to tackle complex clinical problems, leading to innovative advancements in the healthcare field.

  • Collaborative Solution Development: Actively engage with technical peers and clinical experts to create and refine impactful healthcare solutions.

  • Interdisciplinary Solution Architecture: Design and implement solutions that integrate multiple disciplines, determining optimal machine learning integration points and evaluating competing methodologies.

  • Research Integration & Experimentation: Stay updated on the latest machine learning advancements by reviewing academic papers, designing experiments, and incorporating state-of-the-art research into our platform.

  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Foster growth within our dynamic Machine Learning Team by mentoring colleagues and collaborating with our in-house team of renowned clinicians.

Who We're Looking For:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • At least 10 years of post-educational professional experience

  • Proven track record of leading large technical organizations and acting as a technical lead for multiple teams
