Principal Financial Analyst - Corp FP&A (Revenue Planning, Reporting & Analysis)
HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better – and here on our Corporate FP&A team, we’re excited to be starting the search for a Principal Financial Analyst to help us do just that. You will be specifically responsible for conducting financial reporting & analysis related to HubSpot’s revenue and billings, and completing ad hoc projects to support financial planning and business decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Top Line FP&A you will serve as a valued team member and business partner to Finance Leadership, Functional FP&A, RevOps, Accounting, Investor Relations & various other stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Own the comprehensive planning and forecasting process for billings, revenue and bad debt, ensuring our outlook remains accurate and informed by the latest business insights
- Identify and communicate complex financial insights to key stakeholders clearly, facilitating data-driven decision making
- Develop dynamic financial models to analyze trends and predict future financial outcomes
- Identify potential business or operational risks using data-driven insights, and help to drive visibility across the business
- Tackle ad hoc projects, partnering cross functionally as needed and providing critical support to stakeholders
- Partner with FP&A’s Data Team to develop new reporting and optimize existing reporting & processes
We are looking for people who:
- Have a proven track record of professional success; industry experience in finance, strategy, operations, or consulting in the technology/SaaS industry preferred.
- Have strong business consulting, strategic, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Advanced in Excel. Experience with Anaplan and Looker or other big data / BI tools a plus
- Excel at driving clarity from incomplete data sets, highlighting key insights and gaps
- A self-starter that has the intellectual curiosity to identify and solve problems
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly adapt to shifting priorities in HubSpot’s financial landscape
Cash compensation range: 118500-189600 USD Annually
