Principal Enterprise Architect-Remote, USA

- Collaborate with technical teams across domains to design, develop, and approve enterprise-wide technology architectures using a defined blueprint process and the LADR mechanism
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into a coherent technology vision and implementation plan
- Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems, migrate to the cloud, and enhance security and SRE posture through Executive-level technology advisory
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to IT teams on leading practices
- Develop and maintain a multi-year enterprise technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and drive organizational change through executive communication and influence skills
- Coordinate with security and SRE to integrate security and reliability at the architectural level
- Identify opportunities to streamline infrastructure, consolidate systems, and reduce technical debt
- Support IT governance processes and ensure architectural decisions aligning with policies and compliance requirements to drive technology portfolio optimization
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and IT strategy
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, microservices, and modern application architectures
- Proficiency in solution design, technology evaluation, and business process analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading cross functional teams and driving largescale technology initiatives
- Experience with TOGAF, Zachman, or other enterprise architecture frameworks
- Demonstrate business acumen and innovation/creativity in driving performance and achieving organizational goals
- Communication and people development as core competencies to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
- Understand quantitative and qualitative measures for evaluating performance to set clear expectations and goals
- Familiarity with IT governance and enterprise data capabilities for compliance and effective data management
- Master's degree
- Enterprise Architecture certifications like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF
- Experience in Bio-Tech or life sciences technology
- AWS Architect Certification

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
