The Pricing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the pricing and contract lifecycle for our Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS) customers. You will collaborate extensively across PSaS departments to ensure accurate pricing, adherence to contractual agreements, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for supporting all regional distribution centers and sales teams. You will report to the Pricing Coordinator Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sales team inquiries related to pricing, contracts, and terms. You will lead pricing focused market check calls with Sales leadership.
- Deal Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end process of the customer deal lifecycle. Read and interpret financial models, obtain necessary approvals, and implement pricing strategies. Recurring and ad hoc reporting required.
- Contract Management: Understand and interpret supply agreements, collaborate with the Contract Development team to draft and execute contracts.
- Regulations & Compliance: Coordinate with Legal team to ensure pricing practices comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies, including monitoring pricing approvals and documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in highly collaborative partnership with rebate analysts, buying group account managers, strategic pricing team, and Sales Support Coordinators to achieve pricing objectives and resolve customer issues.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Establish organizational policies and procedures related to pricing and contract management.
Minimum Education Requirement
Degree or equivalent required, requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical pricing, contract management, or a related field within the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of financial models and their implications for pricing decisions
- Experience with contracts or customer agreements and ability to interpret and apply complex contractual terms and conditions
- Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
