This position is responsible for providing all manners of necessary support, information and resolution to ensure project successfulness, client happiness and repeat business.

Position Highlights 

• Remote position - Full-time, Monday through Friday 8am to 5:00p EST
• Processing medical records requests

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and clerical skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment
• Medical office experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow within Datavant

Responsibilities

• Verify requester information and associate with the correct customer.
• Pro-actively analyze data to ensure appropriate delivery and billing rules applied.
• Data Entry Research and resolve reported anomalies of processed records.
• Provide reconciliations of charts processed by client and project type.
• Recognize, analyze and resolve potential posting and delivery issues discovered during research of data.
• Understand objectives/goals of the client as well as the company for each project.
• Provide informational support for weekly client status calls.
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient 10-Key operator Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, & Power Point
• Data Analysis
• Prior experience in processing healthcare related information required
• Analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the team

To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc.  Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.  Depending on the state in which you will be working, exemptions may be available on the basis of disability, medical contraindications to the vaccine or any of its components, pregnancy or pregnancy-related medical conditions, and/or religion.

For remote work, this position requires that you provide a high-speed internet connection, subject to applicable expense reimbursement requirements (if any), and a work environment free from distractions.
