The ideal candidate is a self-starter with understanding of low-code development best practices, data integration, and application performance enhancements. Job Summary:

The Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain Integrated Talent Development (ITD) team is committed to driving innovation in the way employees learn and work. We leverage the Microsoft Power Platform to solve knowledge transfer problems and facilitate connection and a culture of engagement, continuous learning, and ongoing improvement.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions using the Power Platform, with a primary focus on PowerApps, while adhering to industry best practices and the ITD vision and strategy.
  • Establish efficient data connections and apply relational database concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Advocate for clean code, streamlined workflows, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), while providing mentorship to team members on these best practices.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks through enhancements such as caching, indexing, and query optimization, ensuring optimal application performance.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, independently analyzing requirements and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely across the ITD team to gather requirements and deliver quality solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the Power Platform
  • specifically in GCCH environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and minimum 2 years' experience of proven proficiency in PowerApps and Power Platform development.
