Summary of Major Job Functions:

  • Non-technical activities: Responsible for analyzing information requirements. Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. Develop, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.
  • Technical activities: Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflow, organization, planning and develop appropriate corrective action including design and development of a new system to digitally transform the FDA Purchase Card manual work. Help develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion. Define the problem and develop system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary collaboration responsibilities with the Users to determine requirements for the new system.
  • Provide design documents for EPLC group, Data Management, Security for approval.
  • Design and code the (FDA) Purchase Card Program as a canvas application on the Power Platform.
  • Build Test Plans and Record Retention Plans.
  • Write Documentation Manuals and Help 
Requirements
  • BS in a qualitative technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Solutions Architect or Sr Systems Analyst.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Power Platform Developer building Power Apps Canvas Applications and Power Automate Flows.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a data analyst or database administrator using a relational data base with SQL server and/or Dataverse preferred.
  • 2 years of technical writing is preferred.

 Additional Information:

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
  • Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

  • The salary for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually
