We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Consultant. The individual plays an important role within Wealth Enhancement’s Investment and Product groups, driving success for advisors, clients, and internal teams. As a subject matter expert in the comprehensive suite of investment solutions available to WEG clients, this role leverages industry expertise and a client-focused approach to build strong relationships with Advisors. By understanding the unique investment methodologies, the Portfolio Consultant proactively delivers tailored support and guidance to enhance Advisor practices. Focused on growth and delivering exceptional outcomes, this position develops and presents innovative ideas and strategies to advisors and their clients. Additionally, the Portfolio Consultant collaborates with stakeholders to craft and share thought leadership on investment and economic topics, both within the firm and across external audiences. (This is a remote work opportunity)
The salary target for this role is $155,000.00 - $175,000.00 depending on experience; this role is also eligible for our corporate bonus.

Primary Job Functions
Relationship Management – Trusted Partner to Advisor Teams
Work closely with our Advisor teams, serving as an expert on WEG Investment Advisory Platform, providing guidance, education, and recommendations.
Proactively consult and engage advisor teams
Support and optimize investment best practices
Educate advisors on platform and products
Develop strategies for transitioning legacy assets
Incorporate centralized solutions into holistic advisor guidance where appropriate
Support and Drive Organic Growth
Serve as an extension of advisor and growth teams to support business development, improve close rates and net flows.
Create and present investment proposals for High-Net-Worth client opportunities
Support research and proposal tools for Advisors to implement
Advise on the implementation of complex investment solutions (Alternatives, Options, etc)
Engage with end-clients via seminars, webinars, and prospective client meetings
Create investment collateral to articulate market perspectives and centrally managed solutions
Collaborate with marketing teams to boost national presence through media channels
Strategic Business Initiatives
Collaborate across WEG with various stakeholders to enhance our platform, improve client experience, and ensure our centralized solutions are a competitive advantage for our advisors.
Partner with Investment Strategy Team on research and implementation of centrally managed investment solutions
Research and contribute towards continued development of the investment platform
Support business development through due diligence of target firms
Work with other businesses to support firm objectives, including the adoption of broader central services
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial services industry, investments focus
CFP, CFA or CIMA a plus
FINRA Series 65
Knowledge of financial markets, modern portfolio theory and asset allocation
Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients
Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects
Detail oriented, highly organized and adaptable
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel 10%
