Overview
As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst in the Structured Credit Services team, you will partner with the Specialist to maintain and update trust reporting database and reconcile the data on daily basis with the other operational applications, Daily activities would include cash receipting, wiring and investment activities. Addressing the queries of both internal and external stakeholders. Review and reconcile the trustee portfolio accounts. Accurately capture the daily transactions in various applications.

What You’ll Do
Daily cash receipting, wiring, and investing of funds
Journalize and reconcile daily cash and investment activity
Communicate with Operations Group to manage bond and loan settlements
Review and reconciliation of overdrawn accounts
Respond to bondholder inquiries
Work on in house / external application including Global Office, Solvas, MS office products (especially advanced Excel )
Skills You’ll Need
Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles
General understanding of structured credit products
Competent in all MS Office products
Advanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques
Reconciliation experience, ability to navigate through data
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
Exposure to portfolio fund accounting
Processing of wires / Swift messages
Team player, ability to work in a diverse environment
Ability to investigate reconciliation issues and resolve them in a timely manner
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Santa Ana office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in California is $60,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
