We are looking to recruit a Policy Compliance and Communications Officer to join and be an integral part of our Operational Risk team.

The role and team

The Operational Risk team sits within the SRA’s Risk and Information Governance business area. The team provide guidance on the SRA's Risk Management Framework and best practice to help mitigate operational risk across the whole organisation.

As a Policy Compliance and Communications Officer role you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of internal control documents along with supporting training and awareness activities.

You will ensure that our policy framework remains fit for purpose and employees understand/comply with the SRA policies and procedures. You will also present operational risk information to key stakeholders to ensure best practice and internal control.

What we are looking for

  • Maintenance of accurate and accessible control documents within a defined governance framework and system.  
  • Experience in production of concise reports and policies/procedures.
  • Experience in engaging with and presenting information to stakeholders.
  • A team member with proficient communication and written skills.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work proactively and manage workloads effectively, with an excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, assess workload priorities and consistently meet targets in a timely manner.
