NFP Retirement, Inc., is seeking a Plan Administrator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
% of Time Duty or Responsibility
90% - Perform retirement plan administration and consulting.
· Administer qualified plans.
· Process participant distributions and loans.
· Reconcile trust assets and contributions.
· Perform non-discrimination and compliance testing.
· Calculate and allocate employer contributions.
· Consult with client regarding timely deposit/remittance of deferrals and employer contributions.
· File appropriate government forms.
· Form 5500, Form 5330, Form 8955-SSA, etc.
· Develop effective working relationships with clients and maintain timely client communications.
· Assist with drafting of prototype plan documents and amendments that meet requirements of plan sponsor.
10% - Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise.
· Comply with continuing education requirements; participate in professional organizations, independent study, etc.
· Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate.
· Recognize opportunities for new business development

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a specialized field such as accounting, business, finance, other related field. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
· Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of directly related work experience in the field of retirement plan administration and consulting. Possession of a QKA, APA, ERPA or CPA is a plus; FIS Relius Administration and PensionPro software experience preferred. Microsoft Office skills required.
· Effective oral, written, interpersonal and computer software skills. Proven organizational and problem-solving skills. Communicate interactively with team members and other support staff.
· A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality. Demonstrate ability to provide quality customer service and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
Working Conditions
· Workload varies significantly to meet client demands and may require extended work hours, including evenings and weekends. Fluctuations may present occasional opportunities to be absent from the workplace or to work reduced hours from the standard work week.
· Position may require travel, including overnights and/or weekends.
· Workload and client demands create tight deadlines and the need to work under pressure. The project team environment and associated team effort serve to lessen the pressure on any one individual

The base salary range for this position is $54,000 – $65,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
