We currently have a career opportunity for a PIM Technical Lead to join our team national Commerce practice. While our headquarters is located in St. Louis, MO, this position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States or Canada. 

 

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and implement PIM solutions (InRiver, Akeneo, Syndigo) over multiple projects and accounts. This includes technical design, discovery, defining and developing functional requirements, deployment, testing & training. This person should be comfortable working in a challenged and fast-paced environment and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver
  • Serve as a technical lead and mentor.  Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level

 

  • Experienced coder with at least 3-5 years of C# and .NET software application development experience.
  • Serve as a Technical Lead and mentor.  Provide technical support during development and continual improvement of service.
  • Exposure and/or experience with Product Data Systems, PIM, MDM, PLM or other related product data related solutions.
  • Experience estimating project development efforts and unit testing efforts.
  • Act as a point of contact and reassurance for clients on project efforts.
  • Manage and delegate work items with other project team members.
  • Manage the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning.
  • Contribute to the resolution of all requirements/feedback/scoping/design issues or questions directly with the clients.
  • Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories utilizing JIRA, Dev Ops and other project tracking tools.
  • Participate in code audits and reviews as required.
  • Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following Perficient standards.
  • Able to understand unique business and technical requirements of the engagement and facilitate communications on the most appropriate solution design.
  • Collaborate on the design and development of the appropriate solution with Lead and Architect
  • Produce detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well documented code artifacts. 
  • Able to develop code on the assigned platform and respective integrations in collaboration with other technical team members.
  • Demonstrate respect for and responsiveness to our clients and colleagues.
  • Independently manage assigned tasks
  • Understand Cloud framework, dev and deployment strategy (as most platforms are now cloud hosted)
  • Attend stand-up meetings and report technical blockers to the project lead.
  • Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
