Job Description

The Sr. Physician Sourcing Associate (Sourcer) is responsible for building the pipeline of qualified physician candidates for Privia’s Provider Recruitment team to increase applicant flow for open requisitions across all specialties and markets. 

Primary Job Duties: 

  • Build and manage a steady pipeline of physicians 
  • Analyze the current state of the physician applicant pool and develop strategies to grow that pipeline
  • Maintain a network of clinicians and third parties involved in physician recruitment and placement processes (i.e., firms, educational/residency programs, conferences, industry-specific job boards/databases, email lists etc.)
  • Develop/implement proactive recruitment strategies for open positions
  • Collaborate with Provider Recruitment team across all levels to manage the prioritization and ongoing hiring needs across Privia Care Centers
  • Coordinate and attend dinners and other recruitment events as needed
  • Attend local, regional, and national clinical recruitment and medical association conferences 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience working with recruiting physicians 
  • Experience meeting, preferably exceeding, annual provider recruitment goals 
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of clinical and educational requirements to meet licensing,  provider certification and Privia credentialing requirements
  • Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment accreditation preferred 
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and CRMs 
  • Must comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations

  • Able to clearly articulate and summarize compensation philosophies and packages
  • Able to have honest conversations with clinicians about roles and compensation packages
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Privia recruiters and internal stakeholders
  • Expresses ideas clearly and effectively, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for Privia
  • Positive attitude toward company, work, clients, management, and team members

The salary range for this role is $65,000-70,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan with an additional target of $32,850.00. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
