Job Summary
Join our PHS Billing Analyst team and play a key role in managing critical premium billing processes. You’ll monitor and process a variety of financial transactions including adjustments, invoices, deductions, reversals, and delinquency management. This role involves cross-department coordination to ensure accuracy in premium processing, monthly bill creation, and reporting. You'll also research and resolve billing discrepancies, participate in system audits, and help develop solutions to improve billing accuracy and efficiency. Analysts support both internal and external stakeholders with complex billing questions and guidance based on GAAP, regulatory requirements, and policy provisions.
- We are targeting a salary range of $52,000 -$59,000 for this role.
Core responsibilities may include:
- Process and reconcile billing transactions (e.g. suspense, adjustments, delinquencies) – ~40%
- Prepare and audit alternately billed group invoices – ~30%
- Act as a subject matter expert to internal/external partners – ~15%
- Support system enhancements and special projects – ~15%
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of accounting or complex financial experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
- 3+ years of customer service experience
Preferred
- Familiarity with systems such as Group Access, GroupFacts, AdminEase, Lawson, Clarity, OMAR
- Experience in billing or reconciliation within a healthcare or insurance environment
- Strong research and problem-solving skills

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$48,000.00 - $70,250.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
