PHP Tech Lead

We are seeking a dynamic PHP Tech Lead to drive the technical strategy and implementation of large-scale projects, covering everything from hosting account setup to SSL, backups and other features implementation. What You Will Do:

• Lead the technical strategy and implementation of large-scale projects (28M requests per day), driving reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor team members to grow technically into senior roles, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Ensure high-quality coding standards and knowledge sharing.
• Work alongside top-tier engineers from other teams to identify the best architectural solutions.
• Enjoy complete creative freedom to make decisions and implement them from scratch with the support of your team.

What We Expect:

• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework, with a focus on finding optimal solutions for large-scale projects. 
• Experience with Redis, Pub Sub, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong knowledge of operating and developing large-scale services. This includes the application of scalability and observability best practices, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Experience with event-driven and asynchronous programming patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of service-based architecture, database design, and distributed systems.
• Ability to build, lead, and implement technical project strategy and architecture.
• Mentorship and the ability to foster team growth and promote high-quality code.
• High curiosity to stay up to date with the state of the art of the fast-moving AI field.
• Experience with Go is preferred but not mandatory.
