Salary/Position Classification

• $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Capturing, editing, and archiving photo content for marketing purposes. Final pieces will follow guidelines provided by marketing supervisors.
• Brainstorm and execute concepts for university social media accounts including Instagram and Facebook
• Work with others on projects including social media content
• Assist University Photographers with photo shoots
• May serve as a model in marketing shoots for marketing materials
• Assist staff with various office tasks as needed (deliveries, printing, assembly of materials)

Minimum Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• Must be able to meet weekly for team meetings
• Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cameras and lighting gear 
• Basic understanding of Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop
