Pharmacy Analyst

What you will be doing:
The Pharmacy Analyst position will provide support for Premier’s Pharmacy Compounding Services for Premier members, suppliers, and its customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Compounding financial reviews for insourcing and/or outsourcing
Develop and maintain Tableau tools to support 503B outsourcing
Update and maintain compounding databases
Develop 503B outsourcing and compounding data reports
Support pharmacy contracting activities
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1 – 20%
Conduct compounding financial reviews for customers
Track and monitor identified cost savings
Present savings opportunities to customers
Responsibility #2 – 20%
Build and maintain Tableau tools to support 503B outsourcing and other compounding needs
Build, maintain, and update compounding databases
Engage with Premier staff and customers to collect and implement feedback for improvement
Responsibility #3 – 20%
Engage customers in compounding data sales
Assemble data and provide appropriately blinding, as required
Build toolkit to accompany each data sale to provide statistics and insights
Responsibility #4 – 20%
Analyze pharmacy compounding data and utilization
Perform statistical analyses on data
Develop and maintain data reports and insights from data
Responsibility #5 – 20%
Perform pharmacy contracting support services
Maintain finances and tracking of program performance of services in SalesForce and Workday
Develop new sources of revenue and establish new lines of business
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more yearsEducation:
High School (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
Skills:
Healthcare finance
Data and statistical analysis
Business intelligence and visual analytic tools (e.g., Tableau)
Experience:
Healthcare setting, preferably pharmacy
Data analytics and business intelligence
Education:
Bachelor's degree
