Job Summary
Pharmacy Operations Advisor (Contracted Temporary Position)
We are seeking a Pharmacy Operations Advisor for a contracted temporary position, offering 60% fee sharing at $75–$90 per hour. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in medication distribution at non-licensed locations and an understanding of pharmacy operations and billing arrangements between hospitals and non-hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on medication distribution and compliance for non-licensed locations.
- Assess existing arrangements between hospitals and non-hospital clinics to ensure regulatory and operational alignment.
- Advise on billing practices for medications in these settings, considering applicable policies and reimbursement structures.
- Offer insight into 340B program implications, as relevant to the distribution model.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in pharmacy operations within hospital and non-hospital settings.
- Experience with medication distribution models at non-licensed locations.
- Knowledge of billing practices and reimbursement regulations for administered medications.
- Familiarity with 340B program considerations is a plus but not the primary focus.
