What You Will Do:
In this role you will be trained appropriately to perform the following duties:
Assist with the complete fumigation process, including but not limited to sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting fume readings, and aerating/de- gassing facilities
Use hand-held gas monitoring equipment to conduct readings
Read, understand, follow labels, and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services provided
Effectively communicate with customers as needed
Inspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly
Follow proper safety protocols including OSHA mandated and customer specified guidelines and other duties assigned by the district Manager or Field Operations Manager
Position Details:
Route territory will include: LaPlace, Louisiana
Work week and shift: Combination Shift; Flexible 5-Day Work Week
Compensation package offered: $46000-$56000 / year
Job Description:
Support quality fumigation services including but not limited to, import and export commodities, shipping containers, vessels, and structures
Travel to various customer locations
Read, understand, and follow labels and MSDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services provided
Effectively communicate with customers as needed
Inspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly
Follow proper safety protocols including OSHA mandated and customer-specified guidelines
Other duties as assigned by the District Manager, Field Operations Manager and/or Master Fumigator
Physical Demands:
Must be capable of wearing a respirator
Position requires lifting/pushing/carrying up to 70 pounds chest high
