Area Description

The People Operations team is responsible for running all people programs, including performance, compensation programs, and people analytics. The team manages all people-related tools & systems, and builds ad-hoc tools as needed. Deliverables include execution of programs, preparing analysis and presentations for leadership teams, partnering with cross-functional teams, managing data integrity and access to tools and data.

 

Role Description 

The People Operations Compensation and People Data Analyst will support the design, implementation and analysis of our people-related data and compensation initiatives. You will use your analytical expertise to deliver insights that drive informed decisions on compensation, workforce planning and overall employee experience. This role is responsible for delivery of objectives in a timely manner, with some guidance. While main priorities will be defined, this role will collaborate with others on this team (and other functional partners), and be versed in areas of secondary responsibility on the team. 

We’re looking for an energetic self starter to join our team to manage people analytics and compensation. This is a fast-paced, highly visible function, which helps to ensure our leadership team has the information they need to make decisions about our workforce. 

 

In this role, you’ll:


  • Manage headcount planning and forecasting while partnering with business leads to understand headcount needs while preparing leadership presentations on headcount plan vs. actuals,  hiring & attrition trends, leveraging people systems and data visualization tools.
  • Analyze DEI trends, including quarterly business reviews and  produce summaries to show results of regular employee engagement surveys.
  • Manage Ad hoc requests and projects.
  • Manage performance management summaries and reporting.
  • Build and maintain internal and stakeholder tools.
  • Maintain program, process and plan documentation.
  • Analyze and maintain compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity while conducting benchmarking analyses using market surveys and industry data to develop and refine compensation structures and pay programs in alignment with company objectives.
  • Support annual compensation reviews, including merit increases and distribution of short and long term incentives.

 

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in data and compensation analysis with experience providing data insights and presenting to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, or other data or scripting languages and Google Sheets/MS Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Experience with compensation surveys (e.g. Radford, Mercer) and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Experience using data to inform recommendations and influence stakeholders while adapting messaging to diverse audiences.

 

It’s preferred if you have:

  • Experience managing multiple challenging projects and applying initiative, creativity, and problem solving.
  • Experience managing programs/projects with changing priorities.
  • Experience with workday.
  • Experience managing HR data or other sensitive datasets.
  • Ability to understand new datasets/data structures.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $107,000 - $158,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
