ABOUT THE ROLE

As a People Coordinator at Degreed, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative needs of our People team. You’ll help ensure a seamless employee experience by managing key processes, assisting with events, and providing support across multiple people-related functions. This role requires someone with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive employee experience.


KEY SKILLS

  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with precision.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to ensure clear and accurate responses to employee inquiries.

  • Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Bob), DocuSign, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools like Slack.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Employee Experience Focus: A passion for creating a positive and engaging workplace.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling orientations, managing system setups, and ensuring smooth offboarding processes with care and confidentiality.

  • Administrative Support: Maintain employee files, manage data entry in HR systems, execute DocuSigns, and generate reports as needed.

  • Employee Engagement: Plan and execute employee events, celebrations, and engagement initiatives to foster a positive company culture.

  • Compliance Tracking: Support compliance processes, including tracking certifications, documentation for audits, and training completion.

  • General Support: Provide assistance with team projects, initiatives, and process improvements to enhance overall operations.

 

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • 1-2 years of experience in a coordinator, administrative, or HR support role, or Knowledge of HR policies and practices.
  • Previous experience in a tech or SaaS company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for employee experience.
  • Familiarity with tools like Bob, Greenhouse, or similar HR and ATS systems.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS AT DEGREED

Degreed is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. 
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
